Practice for lesson 5 of 15, 9 problems
Practice: Greatest common factor and least common multiple
GCF and LCM practice problems with solutions: prime factorization method, three numbers at once, relatively prime numbers and word problems with packs and bouquets.
Review the lessonWork each problem out on paper before you open the solution. If your answer is off, compare the steps and find where you went wrong. If a problem stops you cold, go back to the lesson: every set links to it.

Quick check
Practice 8Quick check
What is \(\text{LCM}(4, 10)\)?
\(4 = 2^2\) and \(10 = 2 \cdot 5\), so \(\text{LCM} = 2^2 \cdot 5 = 20\). The product \(40\) is a common multiple, but not the least.
Practice 9Quick check
What is \(\text{GCF}(15, 28)\)?
\(15 = 3 \cdot 5\) and \(28 = 2^2 \cdot 7\) have no prime in common.
All done?
If you got most of them right, you're ready to move on. If not, reread the lesson and try the ones you missed again in a few days.
