What we collect
If you browse without an account
We don't ask for any personal data. Like every website, the server records technical data (IP address, browser, requested page, date and time) in its logs, which are kept for a limited time for security purposes. Lessons you mark as completed are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us.
If you create an account
We collect your name, email address and password (stored only as an irreversible hash that not even we can read), plus the list of lessons you mark as completed. We use them only to log you in and show your progress. Legal basis: performance of the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To limit break-in attempts, we temporarily record the IP address of failed login attempts and delete it after 15 minutes (legitimate interest in security, Art. 6(1)(f)).
Advertising
The site may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers to show ads, including personalized ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure their performance. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland these cookies are used only after you consent through the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice at any time from the banner's privacy options. Learn more: how Google uses data from partner sites and Google ad settings.
Who receives your data
Account data stays on our server and is never sold or shared. Only our hosting provider, acting as data processor, can access it, and Google for advertising, under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. You can delete it from your profile page: your name, email and progress are erased immediately.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, and object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, such as the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority in your own country.
Children
Anyone can read the lessons. Creating an account under the age of 14 requires the consent of a parent or guardian, or the minimum age required by the law of your country if it is higher.
