About
NumberCampus is a free math lesson site for high school students, for anyone heading to college, and for adults brushing up after years away from the subject.
Why it exists
Most students don't get stuck because math is hard. They get stuck because one step gets skipped. So every lesson shows the work line by line, with a short note next to each line explaining what just happened.
How the lessons are written
- The idea in plain words first, then the rule and the notation.
- Fully worked examples, including the cases where it's easy to slip.
- Practice problems with hidden solutions, to open only after you've tried.
- A quick check at the end, so you know right away whether the topic clicked.
Courses follow the order topics are usually taught in high school. We publish one complete course at a time instead of lots of half-finished pages.
Who's behind it
Hi, I'm Nicolas Conde, an engineering student. While getting ready for university, I realized my math foundations were pretty shaky, so I tried to fill the gaps on my own with textbooks, websites, online courses and video lessons on YouTube.
I learned a lot, but I never found one place that was well organized, interactive and free of mistakes. So I decided to build it myself.
NumberCampus is for anyone who, like me, needs to strengthen the basics, review a topic or simply learn something new. I hope it helps you.
